Volunteers provide a valuable service to the students. Through volunteerism, greater opportunities for students are provided thereby increasing the opportunities for students to meet the standards of education. The Division therefore supports the use of volunteers to assist in creating safe and caring learning environments.
All volunteers, in any capacity, must have the following:
- An up-to-date criminal record check and vulnerable sector to check from the RCMP. A person cannot volunteer until these documents have been received. These record checks will be good for at least 1 year.

- School volunteers will, prior to being allowed to act as a school volunteer, read and sign the School Information Confidentiality Form. AP Form 490-02
- All volunteers must sign in at the office. The sign in book is in the office.
